چکیده
Abstract This paper deals with the analysis of fluid flow around bluff bodies using computational dynamics. Two-dimensional rectangular body, semi-circular tip, triangular tip and elliptical nose cone shapes have been considered in paper. The are analysed at various Mach numbers, ranging from 1.5 to 10. aerodynamic characteristics like Drag coefficient drag force investigated. Also, formation shock wave higher regimes its effects on velocity pressure observed analysed.

Various Men ' s Body Shapes and Drops for Developing
Menswear body types are often labeled on garments (to indicate how the garments are designed to fit) with indicators of a size category such as regular, portly, and stout, athletic, or big and tall. A drop (relationships between the chest and waist girths) is related to the fit of a tailored suit. However, current standards are not designed for various drops or body types. There is not enough i...
متن کاملPlasma Telemetry in Hypersonic Flight
Problems associated with telemetry blackout caused by the plasma sheath surrounding a hypersonic vehicle are addressed. In particular, the critical nature of overcoming this limitation for test and evaluation purposes is detailed. Since the telemetry blackout causes great concern for atmospheric cruise vehicles, ballistic missiles, and reentry vehicles, there have been many proposed approaches ...
متن کاملAnalysis of Hypersonic Viscous Flow about Bluff Cylinders Placed One after Another
The flow structure about two bluff cylinders placed one after another in hypersonic viscous flow has been studied. The grid equations approximated the Navier-Stokes equations were solved numerically by application of the implicit monotonized scheme of second-order accuracy, the modified Newton's method, and the Christoffel-Schwarz grid-transformation technique. The similarity conditions of deve...
متن کاملPlasma Actuators for Bluff Body Flow Control
The aerodynamic plasma actuators have shown to be efficient flow control devices in various applications. In this study the results of flow control experiments utilizing single dielectric barrier discharge plasma actuators to control flow separation and unsteady vortex shedding from a circular cylinder in cross-flow are reported. This work is motivated by the need to reduce landing gear noise f...
